Jack Ingle, the technical diving guru, makes his first visit to the Dive Ireland Show and is sure to attract a large crowd for this presentation on the expedition to dive the well known, but little dived, wrecks of HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales in the South China Seas. These vessels were the lead players in Operation Churchill, mounted to deter Japan from entering WW2. Tragically the operation went sadly wrong when Japanese torpedo bombers found the convoy and sunk both these ships with a huge loss of life. Both were battleships, with the Prince of Wales being the larger of the two, and Jack will show a series of photographs to illustrate his thought-provoking presentation.
