DV Diving is a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Five Star Dive Centre, TDI (Technical Diving International) Premier Facility and RYA (Royal Yatching Association) Training Centre. DV Diving is also able to assess HSE (Health and Safety Executive) commercial scuba divers.

DV Diving offer one of Europe's most comprehensive ranges of scuba, technical and commercial diving and powerboat training courses - for the complete beginner through to instructor development for the most experienced professionals.

Many visiting divers return each year attracted by the clear waters around County Down and the great diversity of dive sites. There are intact wrecks to explore, spectacular drop offs and exhilarating drift dives. All abilities can be catered for, choosing from the shelter of Strangford Lough with its wealth of marine life species in an unspoilt environment, to the more challenging, wreck strewn Irish Sea

DV Diving provides one of the most comprehensive ranges of Open and Closed Circuit Diving and Powerboat courses available in Europe.

We offer training courses to suit everyone: from introductory courses for the complete beginner, through to instructor development for the most experienced dive professionals. We also have a wide range of technical diving courses for divers who want to extend their skills in order to take on more challenging dives. Training courses can be personalised or combined, taking into account current experience and previous qualifications.

The Instructors
The Centre is run by David and Tony Vincent. Both are BS-AC (British Sub-aqua Club) Advanced Instructors and RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructors. David is also a BS-AC First Class Diver, PADI Staff Instructor, TDI Open and Closed Circuit Instructor Trainer, a graduate in Marine Sciences and a qualified teacher.
